The target for this month was to achieve the obstacle avoidance task. I was responsible for constructing the proteus design for the IR circuit. Once I had built the proteus design, the plan was sent to be printed out. The components were soldered, and the output frequencies were checked with the help of the oscilloscope. However, there was a problem with some of the signals because microprocessor from the circuit was damaged whilst soldering. The components from the IR circuit was soldered incorrectly due to the wrong interpretation of the proteus design. Thus, the circuit was not working. However, we were left with the touch bars and were only marked on that. Being the team leader, I had discussed with the demonstrators on how we, as a group, would tackle this situation in the next term. As a group, we had set a target where the obstacle avoidance would be completed within the first week of semester 2.
