During the first session of November myself and Vyshnav continued working on the website, specifically focusing on the documentation and planning pages while trying to add pictures to show our progress. The team page started to come along nicely with the addition of pictures and notes about ourselves personally, giving a bit of background to add a more personal feel to the website, including hobbies etc. Joe continued making progress on the breadboard while Tom was studying the motor components and figuring out the best way to tackle the problems ahead.
The following week I assisted joe with the completion of the breadboard in the hope of finishing it soon to get on with the design on proteus. Vyshnav continued working on the documentation ready for myself to input into the website.
In the third session I tried to finish off the breadboard so that work on proteus could begin. With the help of Vyshnav we managed to generate all the waveforms required however the LED’s would not illuminate. Through countless tries of attempting to try and fix the board we concluded that the only logical thing to do at that point was to rebuild the board from scratch in the hope of getting the LED’s to work. Tom on the other hand made great progress with motors, managing to get them spinning and then started the construction of the base of the micro mouse. We hope by next session to have completed the breadboard and start on the proteus, in the hope of getting our pcb printed as soon as possible and for soldering to begin.
