This month we decided to further refine the Micromouse and get rid of any unnecessary components or unused space. With our code almost fully realised, we decided to fit both the main circuit and the white line circuit onto one PCB. This allowed a much sleeker and uncluttered design which would also benefit us if any repairs are to be made on the actual mouse.
This means that we had to design a new PCB on proteus which included both the main circuit and the white line following circuit. Once the PCB was printed, we then moved on to soldering it as our final and conclusive circuit. The PCB was almost finished but the Micromouse project had to unfortunately be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Due to these unexpected events, it is unlikely that the Micromouse will be finished this academic year.
